Vintage Rose Collage Paintings

I had some old stamp and postcard magazines for some years and was looking for some project to use these images. This was the perfect opportunity, an exhibition with the title "wonderfull word". I used old postcards and stamps as a collage background and then painted the roses in oil, using glazed to give it an antique feel.

Last month I was so lucky to have an article published in a local magazine. The March edition featured al kinds of vintage related products in the Pretoria area. The editor found my vintage blocks on my blog and contacted me for an interview.

I only expected to be mentioned, not to have an entire double page article about me, my studio and classes. Thanks Get It Magazine!
