First Nguni painting for 2012.

This was a commission painting for an old school friend.

She sent me an amazing photo and it was my absolute pleasure to do this painting.

New Nguni Painting

This painting was done for a client in Cape Town. They wanted one similar to a previous Nguni I did. We flipped the image and painted it on a larger canvas. It was a joy to do this oil painting after all the paper collages I have been making.

The painting gets shipped next week when it is dry. I realy hope they like it as much as I do,

I got a commission to do another Nguni painting. It has been a while since I last painted cows and it was so much fun doing this one. It is joining 3 of its friends, hope it blends in well.

Nguni painting

I have done a few Nguni's over the last few months and never get tired of painting them. The colours one can use changes with every one. Some are darker and others like this one light and airy. Love painting the calves as well, I don't think cows should be alone in the field, it is just to sad and lonely.
