Paper Doll Paintings

I made these 4 paintings for an exhibition at Duncan Yard Gallery. The exhibition opens this Friday at 18h00. It is a group exhibition with 20 artists and all artwork sells for R500 or less.
It was so much fun doing the "Vespa Girl" paintings that I stuck to the idea of working with pattern paper. This time I gave it a retro feeling with images from Burda Magazines dating back to 1970.

Thanks Rishi. I had a look at your blog, like your dsfdf paintings. I also did a few earlier in the year but can't seem to find the time anymore. They are such fun to do. Will try again next year. Happy painting. Dids
